Over 23 years ago, my husband, Brian, and I located to Tempe. We recognized that Tempe was a wonderful, family oriented community and chose to live and raise a family in Tempe. I am a long time community leader, activist, and well-known advocate. I understand the importance of government serving the people it represents, whether it's in the schools, neighborhoods, or at City Hall. I was first elected to Tempe City Council in 2006 and am running for my second term.
